​Divine Craft is a new Fine Craft Gallery space opening in Lakefield, Ontario in March 2024.  A craft focused gallery, workshop space and community creative hub is the vision of Emerance Baker and Christy Haldane. Emerance slow-crafts textile creations for 10 years under the name Stoney Lake Textiles. Emerance is a retired Post Secondary educator who has a long history of garment design, surface pattern design, bag making and photography. Glass sculptor, Christy Haldane studied in the Sheridan College Craft and Design Program in the late 90s and has over 24 years of professional experience as an artist, art administrator and gallerist. Both Emerance and Christy value eco-friendly production in their studio practices and champion thoughtful, handmade functional art created by Ontario based makers.
