Ruth Dyer

Ruth Dyer is a self-taught multi-media artist with a special interest
in mixed media and collage.  She loves to experiment with various
surface designs including monoprinting, burnt paper design, and any
other process that piques her interest, but always with colour and
texture in mind.

A native  of Toronto, Ruth has happily called Lakefield home for
nearly 20 years, and quickly became immersed in the area's extensive
art community.  With the support of chef Jay Nutt (originally of the
cafe Nuttshell Next Door), she organized Artisan Alley as a weekly
market for local artists, and founded Christmas at the Marshland
Centre which is now in its 17th year.  She was also a long-standing
member of the Lakefield Farmers' Market.
