Intro to Garment Making:
In this full-day Intro to Garment Making Workshop you will learn to make a garment of your choosing one of three possible patterns. A simple skirt, tank top or Box top with sleeves. We’ll learn to measure for a correct fit, draft a toile, pick the right fabric substrate for your project and work through the steps of garment construction.
This is an advance sewing course. You must be proficient with your sewing machine skills to complete this course in a single session.
Skill Level: must have basic sewing knowledge and experience with an electronic sewing machine.

Hosted by Emerance of Stoney Lake Textiles at Divine Craft in the workshop
Location: 15 Burnham Street, Lakefield Ontario
Fabric Supplies: Cotton or Cotton Linen blend fabric is provided for this workshop but you can upgrade your fabric with a purchased kit.
Tea, Coffee and light refreshments are offered.
There is a half hour for lunch during the workshop so please bring your lunch with you.
Sewing Machines are available to use but you can bring your own (in good working order) sewing machine. Please let Emerance know if you are bringing a machine.
This workshop is limited to 2 people and may run over the hours allocated.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations received more than 3 days before the first class are eligible for a credit or refund, less a $25 cancellation fee. There is no refund or credit for cancellations less than 3 days prior to the start of class. A registration may be transferred to another person at no charge.
